11 Years of Hope: Thank You, to our Amazing Community!

Eleven years ago, our former school nurse, Moe Moe, sparked a simple, profound vision: to support those battling breast cancer who lack a strong support system. Her motto, “Make a difference, one life at a time,” continues to be the driving force behind this vital tradition.

This year, the VIS community truly embodied Moe Moe’s mission. The spirit and energy on campus were inspiring as we came together to fight breast cancer. We are thrilled to share that:

  • 101 people joined us for the event.

  • Together, you ran, walked, and moved for an incredible 1,245.5 laps!

Paddles, Pride, and Practice: Learning the Spirit of the Lao Boat Racing Festival

As part of the Cultural Learning Experience Program in Yuu Lao, our Primary students immersed themselves in one of Laos’ most important traditions—the Boat Racing Festival. Through dance, storytelling, and hands-on activities guided by our Lao staff, students explored the festival’s deep connections to the harvest season, community spirit, and gratitude. It was a joyful way to celebrate culture, learn together, and experience the rhythms of Lao tradition.
